Laser hair removal provides permanent hair reduction, which is not the same as a guarantee that every hair is gone. After a full course of treatments most people see a lasting drop in how much hair grows back, and the hairs that return are usually finer and lighter.

Hormonal changes, certain medications, and dormant follicles waking up can bring some regrowth over time, so occasional maintenance sessions are sometimes recommended. Results vary from person to person.

For many people, yes. The bikini and Brazilian areas are popular because laser reduces ingrown hairs and razor bumps and cuts down the time spent shaving or waxing. The skin there can be more sensitive, and the built-in cryo cooling helps keep treatment comfortable.

Yes. After about three sessions you will often notice thinner, slower-growing hair, and smaller areas like underarms can show a clear change by session 2 or 3. But three sessions will not finish the job.

Hair grows in cycles and the laser only works on follicles in the active growth phase, so each visit treats a different group of hairs. Most plans use 6 to 8 sessions, about 4 to 6 weeks apart, to reach lasting reduction.

Most clients find it painless thanks to the built-in cryo cooling of the GentleMax Pro, which cools the skin with every pulse. Sensation can still vary with the area and your own tolerance. Sensitive areas such as the upper lip and bikini line may feel more noticeable than larger areas like legs.

Most treatment plans use 6 to 8 sessions, spaced about 4 to 6 weeks apart. Your provider sets the exact plan after looking at your hair color, thickness, skin tone, and the area being treated.

Typically you shave the area before your visit, avoid waxing, plucking, and threading (the laser needs the hair root to be present), and stay out of the sun and tanning beds. Tell us about any medications, especially ones that make your skin sensitive to light, and any skin conditions. We give you specific instructions when you book.

The GentleMax Pro uses two wavelengths, so we can treat all skin types, including darker skin tones, safely. Hair color matters more than skin tone for results: laser works best on dark hair because it targets pigment. Very light blond, red, gray, or white hair has little pigment to absorb the light and may respond poorly. We will tell you honestly what to expect at your consultation.

Temporary redness and mild swelling around the hair follicles are common and usually settle within a day or two. Less commonly, blistering, burns, or changes in skin color can occur, which is why the provider, the settings, and the cooling all matter. Our treatments are performed by our trained team under physician supervision, and we review your medical history first.

It depends on the area: underarms about 15 minutes, face and neck 15 to 30, bikini or Brazilian 20 to 30, arms 30 to 45, legs 45 to 75, and back or chest 45 to 90 minutes. The large 18mm spot size keeps bigger areas efficient.

Mild redness, similar to a light sunburn, is common and usually fades quickly. Wear a broad-spectrum sunscreen with at least SPF 30, avoid sun exposure and tanning, and keep the skin moisturized. Shaving between sessions is fine, but avoid waxing and plucking. Your provider will give you full aftercare instructions.

We generally do not treat during pregnancy, on recently tanned skin, or over active skin infections or open wounds, and some medications and skin conditions need a conversation first. Your provider reviews your history at the consultation and will tell you if another timing or treatment is a better fit.
