About This Service
We use the Candela GentleMax Pro® — a dual-wavelength platform combining 755nm Alexandrite and 1064nm Nd:YAG lasers. This combination means we can safely and effectively treat hair removal on virtually all skin types, including darker complexions that were historically limited by single-wavelength devices.
Laser hair removal works by targeting the melanin in hair follicles with precise pulses of light. The follicle is disabled without damaging surrounding skin. Most patients achieve 70–90% permanent reduction after a series of 6–8 treatments, spaced 4–6 weeks apart.
